Following the launch of the “Summer Camp” collection, HUMAN MADE is now preparing a “Ningen-sei” (which translates to “Made in Human”) capsule that reinterprets traditional Japanese clothing and crafts in HM’s signature playful street culture approach. ) capsule that reinterprets traditional Japanese clothing and artifacts in HM’s signature playful street culture way. Highlights of the collection are graphic lightweight cotton Happi jackets, a garment traditionally worn during Japanese festivals, and T-shirts found in various indigo dye washes.
Papier-mache pieces of wind chimes and beckoning lucky cat characters arrive as decorative charms, and chopstick holders, animal face sake cups and dipping trays complete the assortment.
